Left Fielder Media’s debut at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 was full of excitement. They’ve collaborated with Shrapnel, the world’s first AAA Blockchain FPS game, on a series of comics that introduces five origin stories to characters that exist in the game’s world.
Shrapnel is the world’s first blockchain-enabled moddable AAA first-person shooter game, and Left Fielder has developed an initial Operator Character named Hassan Calloway.
Dom and Stephen also participated in a panel discussion about ‘How Comics Make Video Games Better Than Ever.’ The panel featured heavy hitters in the in the media, gaming and comic industry such as Mark Long (Neon Machine, Zombie Studios, co-creator of Shrapnel), Dmitri Johnson (Sonic The Hedgehog 1 & 2), John Nee (DC Comics, WildStorm, Marvel, Cryptozoic), Rick Sanchez (Resident Evil, Cartoon Network, 3000 AD), and Matt Hawkins (Top Cow Productions).
Guests attending the panel got to see a sneak peek into the processes of transmedia storytelling and what to expect from the first edition of the Shrapnel comics.
